I've been keeping this shoot under wraps for months, which has been really hard to do because I'm so excited about it.

I grew up wanting to be a fashion photographer, and when Sharon from Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry and I started dreaming about this shoot, we both really wanted a high fashion/Italian Vogue feel. We worked together to style this shoot, which was inspired by the 2014 Vogue shoot with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

We loved the glamour and fashion aesthetic in that shoot and knew that the Royal Suite at the historic Fairmont Empress Victoria was the perfect place to capture the beautiful connection between our couple in an opulent, luxurious setting.

We incorporated wedding clothing from premiere local wedding vendors mixed with the models' own designer clothing to give the shoot the intended fashion spin. We also wanted to highlight the couple's mixed ethnicity by including a more traditional Indian dress as a reception-style evening outfit.
