I had the opportunity a few months ago to do a fashion inspired photo shoot at my studio with Aurezo from Sharon Rai Hair and Makeup Artistry. Our model, Lexi, from Coultish Management, was gorgeous and so fun to work with.
Finally posting these photos of Lexi looking absolutely amazing make me think that it's a good time to introduce a new session I've been planning called "Girl's Day Out". It's a dream photoshoot including professional hair and makeup. The inspiration is below.
“Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?”
Pamper yourself with a portrait session unlike any other where YOU are the focus. This experience is a true spa day for the soul to celebrate your beauty inside and out. Capture yourself as you are right NOW in all your fabulous glory. Shatter your self-imposed ideas about what beauty is, no matter what your age is, or what you think those numbers on the scale mean. Bring your favourite outfits and prepare to have fun and look gorgeous. A perfect way to commemorate a milestone or life event, or just to get some great photos of yourself looking amazing.
Exist in photos for yourself, your children, your family and your loved ones. SHINE. YOU ARE ENOUGH. RIGHT NOW. You are worth it.
ALL women welcome, young and young-at-heart, including those just entering womanhood, pregnant mamas, trans women and anyone who self-identifies as a woman.
Partners and children are always welcome to join your session, but I encourage you to take at least half of the session for yourself.
Is this something you’d like to experience with a friend or a group? Bring them along for an extra $150 per person!
- Your 2-3 hour in studio portrait session includes:
- In studio professional hair & makeup styling
- Multiple outfit changes and backdrops
- Complementary glass of bubbly
Pre-session consultation (in person or by phone) and post-session sales meeting required.
includes a $100 print credit and 3 watermarked low resolution images from your session for easy online sharing
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." - A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of "A Course in Miracles", Ch. 7, Section 3 (1992), p. 190.
